Best For: Driving new foot traffic on slower weeknights; low risk, high engagement.
- Cost to Venue: $0
- Space Requirements: Open area with seating for ~20 participants.
- Duration: ~60 minutes.
- How It Works: Fort Wayne Improv and the venue market the event on their social media platforms and mailing lists. Fort Wayne Improv handles pre-registration on its website.
- Number of Patrons/Participants: ~20 participants
- Revenue Incentive: During online registration, participants can opt to pre-purchase a drink token (funded by the participant, redeemed at the venue’s bar), guaranteeing direct beverage revenue before the participants even arrive.
Opportunity 2: Short-Form Improv Show
Best For: Transforming your space into an event destination for an evening.
- Cost to Venue: Free for the first show (pilot run); negotiable prices for subsequent shows (i.e., ticketed door split, fixed fee).
- Space Requirements: Open space in your main seating area or a private/separated room (venue’s choice). Forcing improv on an unwilling crowd can be tough, so it will be up to the venue to decide what their patrons want.
- Duration: ~45–60 minutes.
